In the wilds of rural Scotland, a body is found, dumped in a ritualistic pose. Detective Inspector Monica Kennedy, a single mother to five-year-old Lucy and a woman with a murky past, instinctively suspects the case won’t begin and end with this one death. And when her suspicions are proved true, she is faced with the urgent reality that, among their small and sparse community, a serial killer is watching and waiting. As Monica’s mysterious past brings her own moral compass into question, to what lengths will she go to catch the killer? Based on G.R. Halliday’s globally successful book series and is executive produced by Ben Stephenson for Poison Pen.
