The Escape is a gripping action thriller set deep in the Colombian jungle, where a fanatical ultra-Orthodox cult rules with absolute control. Yoel (21), the gifted heir apparent to the sect and son of the cult leader’s right-hand man, secretly dreams of freedom for his wife, Feigy (20), and their young son. But when their escape plan is exposed, Yoel is forced to flee alone, leaving his family behind. Lost, alone, and overwhelmed by the outside world, Yoel forms an uneasy and volatile alliance with Carmeli (45), an ex-Mossad search-and-rescue operative haunted by the death of his own son. Together, they set out to mount a daring extraction. But the cult’s ruthless leadership, psychological warfare, and dangerous alliance with a powerful drug cartel turn the rescue into a deadly conflict that stretches across borders. As the clock runs out, Yoel faces an agonizing truth: if he doesn’t get his family out before his son comes of age, the cult may claim him forever. To save them, Yoel must return to the very prison he escaped — and fight from within.
