Once a proud town, Beartown has been slowly fading into obscurity, with its junior hockey team seen as the last hope for revival. When former NHL player Peter Andersson returns home to coach the team, the community places all its dreams on the young athletes’ shoulders. But on the eve of their greatest chance at glory, a violent act changes everything. As accusations of sexual assault rock the town, loyalties are tested, secrets come to light, and neighbours are forced to choose between protecting their own or standing up for what’s right.
